Power Built Construction built us a two-story modern farmhouse style home in NE Ohio. The house has a very contemporary flair with its courtyard and built-in outdoor kitchen. Inside the home is finished with premium materials and again with a contemporary flair including Miami-style crown moldings.
Parker Berzin and his extended team are like no others I have worked with in building a new home. This is my fifth new build and I can honestly say that the Berzin family is head and shoulders above all others I have worked with across four different states. The honesty and transparency is exemplary and the willingness to use premium materials without pressure from the homeowner is impressive. The group goes well beyond industry norms to ensure the customer is getting what he wants and that he is truly satisfied in the end by delivering impeccable quality. My wife and I bought our ranch “starter house” in the summer of 2021 in the center of Independence, Ohio. We quickly fell in love with the area, and wanted this house to become our forever home. We met with Parker Berzin from Powerbuilt Construction in the beginning of 2022, and immediately could sense the passion that he shared with us for the project. From that point on, through the beginning, middle, and end of the construction process, Parker was in constant communication with us. Powerbuilt Construction delivers on timeframes, avoids hitting you with surprise added expenses, incorporates your interests and design ideas into the construction process, and will become your dogs’ new best friend. We are now a family of three, having had our first child in December of 2023, and could not imagine our family growing in a different home than this. Parker worked in collaboration with our structural engineer and HVAC and electrical contractors to open an unfinished section of attic in a Shaker Heights “century home.” The opened attic space was designated to serve as the air handler location for a new whole house zoned AC installation. Power Built removed old insulation, installed 20′ LVL beams (which were delivered through a third floor bedroom window!), replaced insulation, installed new flooring and installed a new Shaker style door to the new space, matching the styles already in use on the third floor of this large home. Various stages of Parker’s construction work required tight coordination with the electrical and HVAC teams and ongoing regular updates to the homeowners. The project concluded successfully!
